Welcome!

Peter Benedict, St Andrews Grad,  is a professional sports trainer for athletes. He grew up in Canada where he attended St. Andrew’s College for his pre-university education. This blog site is dedicated to providing readers with information about sports training, athletics, and everything in-between. While Peter resides in Washington, his heart is still and always will be in Canada. He is grateful though for the opportunity given him to pursue his dream of becoming a professional sports trainer—in the USA no less!

So why this site, you may ask?

First of all, Peter Benedict, St. Andrews grad knows how lucky he is to be given the chance to do what he loves most—sports training—and earn a steady income from it. For this reason, he wishes to share his knowledge and experience in personal and sports training to those who want to pursue the same career, or those who want to learn more about these things for their personal fitness goals.

It’s true that there are other sites on the Internet that are focused on personal and sports training as well, but Peter thought that it was still important to share his two cents’ worth to readers worldwide to give them a fresh perspective—perhaps a different take on these things.

With that said, readers are encouraged to send in their questions to Peter. You can rest assured that he will provide you with the information that you need as best he could.

While this site is still in its initial phase, Peter’s contact details for this blog haven’t been finalized yet. In the meantime, you may contact him directly through here.

In his career as a sports trainer for athletes, Peter has worked with quite a few remarkable characters. Their passion for their sport, their love for their team, and respect for their coaches are what drive Peter to strive harder in his profession. Just as the athletes that he’s training are giving their all into everything that they do, so does Peter. He believes that there are no small jobs in the world, and no small feats—everything is an opportunity—and defeats, like victory, should also be considered as an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve.

These, plus other nuggets of wisdom will be shared here for everyone to read in hopes of giving you the inspiration and motivation that you need to strive to excel in everything that you do.

Peter also believes that no one is a hopeless case. He has worked with athletes who weren’t matching the team’s standards, but these did not stop them from pursuing their dreams. Instead, Peter saw the determination behind these athletes’ eyes—their willingness to do whatever it took to make their respective teams proud. And oftentimes, this includes training so much harder than everyone else. And Peter was with them every step of the way.
